His season stats are now 12 ppg, 9 rpg, 2 bpg, 2 apg I think soon, when he continues to get his legs back, we can see those numbers climb up to 14-16 ppg and 10 rpg.
Brook Lopez can only wish to be half the player Bynum is On topic though, Bynum has been great as of late. I hope he keeps this trend up too. Maybe he'll make Blazer fans realize that Bynum pwns Oden....
Im sick of hearing people give crap to oden, though i have been a little critical over his play so im to blame, but come on guys, lets lay off a bit, even if it is jokes, he has been through alot for a rookie, more than most of em anyway. So yeah, hey i really like brook lopez, he is good, real good, i think he'll become a really good center in this league, he is one to look out for. But Bynum is the man, hands down, kids got game, brook and oden do score a majority of their points from easy lob passes and second chance putbacks, cant really create their own shot too well. offensively, bynum is way ahead. i love bynum, i dont care what he averages this season, his great play defensively has put this team over the edge to greatness, it is all that we needed in the playoffs and finals, now we've got it, what a beast. Plus he adds a little security on offense if pau and kobe arent on their A game. I love this team.
Another terrific game by Bynum. 18 points and 10 boards. And how about his defense? He held Chris Bosh, who is averaging almost 28 ppg to 12 points, and 4-13 shooting. His defense presence has been HUGE for us this season. I can't believe he is "injured." I think that report was completely made up! He's rounding back into beast mode like he was last season before the injury!
Yeah I agree... Even if Bynum is younger and Bosh has more experience Bosh can't stop him maybe because of the size of Bynum... He is a beast
Bynum vs. Bosh is a physical mismatch for Bosh. He's not going to have success in the post against Bynum because of how much bigger Bynum is. Likewise, he's going to have troubles defending him in the post too.
Bosh should learn to utilize his speed for his size more. I mean look at Amare and Pau, when they know they are faster, they explore that mismatch. I mean, I try to watch the Rockets as much as I can cause of Yao, but he always had trouble with Pau's speed. Bosh should learn from this, and still not settle for outside jumpers.
Bynum's nasty alley-oop: I love his reaction. At first he's like, yeah fuck you, you can't stop me! Then he's like, yeah, I must admit I'm a pretty good basketball player. :0
