If UCLA beats USC, there is a 3 way tie atop the Pac, OSU wins the tiebreaker and would go the the RB, UO to the Holiday Bowl (because we cant go back to el paso due to a no repeat clause) and USC to the *snicker* Sun Bowl. I hope UCLA beats em so SC can have some fun in El Paso, try to recruit now Petey!
Mas in that scenario, USC goes to the Holiday and Oregon goes to Vegas. Holiday takes the winner of the head to head between OR and USC.
HB committee can chose between the two. Bowls can discriminate a bit here and there. Holiday takes the team they think will send more fans, which means more tourists, and more $$$$ SC fans wont go to SD to watch the "lowly" Holiday Bowl..that is blasphemy in their eyes.
You obviously have not read the quote from the HB committee two weeks back where they spelled it out pretty clearly. It is their policy to ALWAYS take the winner of the head to head match up when a tie occurs. This year will be no exception.
