the Detroit announcers have been gushing about the Blazers throughout their first half call as if they were Mike Rice's extended family.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the Portland Trailblazers are as good as advertised" was how the play by play guy ended the half.

Aldridge is playing great! I was glad to see the bench play better and get the lead back up.

I liked that part myself. Just imagine if the bench played good.

Nic is great. I can't find a single flaw in his game. I think he should still start when Webster comes back.

I think Nate will keep Batum in the starting lineup... and bring Webster and Outlaw in at SF and PF.

Mike and Mike mentioned on the PDX broadcast that Martell said he has some soreness and he's not going to rush coming back. Seemed like they were backing off of the Dec 5th return date that they had been talking about.

LOL at the chat on the link I have.

One guy says his dog can beat TMac one on one anytime, anywhere.

Then another guy says TMac will dunk on his dog......funny.

Portland's bench didn't play well, but I think that Nate was correct to go with them as he did... players get used to playing a certain number of minutes in a general substitution pattern. Nate shouldn't overreact based on a couple of bad minutes.

The Pistons are a pretty good team. They are much more experienced than the Blazers, and they're playing at home. That the Pistons would make a run--either against our starters or bench--is not surprising to me in the least.

Another nice run by the Pistons and the lead is in danger yet again.

Man. All of Sheed's FG attempts today have been 3-pointers. That'd be frustrating to be a Pistons fan.

Blazers impress me so much. On the road against a vet team and they are enforcing their will!
