I guess even Hollinger will rate Nets a little bit higher than 20th :)

I must say, this all has a real familiar feeling. Think back to the first year with Kidd. It was a team comprised largely of rookies and players not far off from being rookies. We were supposed to suck.

Then we started winning, and we started surprising the fuck out of people.

We've done this Cinderella "team that is supposed to suck but doesn't" act before, and I must say that it is infinitely more fun than the "team with lots of talent that sucks and disappoints" act we've been pulling the last couple of years.

EDIT: Oh, and speaking of things feeling similar to that year, we have a new point guard playing out of his freaking mind.

Obviously. I'm just wondering at what point in the season Devin will start getting MVP chants at the line.

How many MVPs were also MIP, by the way?

I kid, of course... but it sure is nice to have a team to be optimistic about again. It's been a while.

I think maybe we will have 11-winning streak until the December mid. by then, we will have a so nice record(17-7), then it's time for us to think BIG.

Teams like the Nets kills the "formula" rocket scientists. Most of their system are based off former averages. The sum of the Nets parts are playing much better than it's individual players. I would have to say that the coaching staff and GM has to get some credit.

We are high up there, #9 is a little bit high, but heck I'll take it. Hope we can keep it up and break out with our December schedule which looks very easy, but let's not take any team for granted, not even OKC. Go out there and play hard, that has been our formula to success so far.
