really love a lot of Pantera songs. Fucking hostile and Cowboys from Hell being 2 favs.

the lead singer's voice isn't annoying either.. which is good considering how many bad singers there are in metal.

lol, did not know that. glam metal was popular in the 80's.

what'd you think of the Matt Good vids I posted on page 1?
not has hardcore, but he's one of those guys who grow on you after a couple of listens.

any other good metal/hard rock I should check out? I like Pantera/Metallica/Godsmack type stuff for the most part.

Oh yeah forgot to mention 'Walk' by Pantera, love that too. Rob Van Damn used to come out to that back in his ECW days.. you know when ECW was the f'n shit and not total shit like it is now.

So a somewhat obscure suggestion here, but a band I've been listening to a lot recently is Rush. They definitely don't fall under the heavy metal category, but they're very, very good.

Plus, Neil Pert is probably one of the best drummers ever...so listen to them for the sole sake of hearing his brilliance. Plus...they have tons of material to check out as well, seeing as how they've been around for forever.

Lol, to each their own I guess. I think Geddy has a great voice, even at his age and after the amount of performances they've put on over the past few decades.

Regardless, you have to appreciate the musicianship at the least. Neil is one of the best drummers ever (at least in my book), Geddy is a fantastic bassist and Alex is an incredible guitar player as well.

    Holy crap, another Finch fan!

I have both their What It Is To Burn and Say Hello To Sunshine albums. I love em, though the latter was a bit of a disappointment in comparison to What It Is To Burn.

I wasn't even aware they released a new EP, I might have to hunt it down. Which album is it more comparable to? Because their style is distinctly different between WIITB and SHTS.
