He has made it public that he will explore "every option" he has this free agent year. I wonder if we could swing some sort of deal for him. I dunno what that would take. PHX loves money and we have Reaf. We could throw in a couple players to make something work.

Awesome thought! Could LMA play 3?

    Blake
    Roy
    LMA
    Amare
    Oden

    Damn!

Pipe dream is right. At least one of the big 3 must go. It doesn't matter that he's "unhappy", that much talent isn't leaving unless a great talent is coming back.

Except that Phoenix is in a playoff hunt, while Memphis was horrid and wasn't going anywhere with Pau. They were building around Rudy Gay. Once Phoenix starts rebuilding, they WILL build around Amare...

Plus, he has already said that he will see what is our there in 2010...

Amare said he wants to be getting the touches and pub like LeBron and Kobe, not happening here.. the guy has too much of an ego.

Unless we're willing to move Brandon, Greg, and/or Lamarcus there's no way Amare would want to come to Portland unless he was guaranteed to be the featured guy ... He's a great individual talent, but I hate guys that play selfish ball.

i don't see why we'd want him, but if we did he's not exactly a pipe dream in 2010. it could happen.

I agree the guy is all about Amare. This was one of the big disputes that Marion had with Amare. Hes got a very big ego. Personally I like the way we are playing and the unselfishness of this team going after Amare would be completely out of character for KP. We have enough talent that we don't need to take this kind of risk.
