I agree that Nelson made a mistake. Andris Biedrins needed to be on the court at the end of regulation. It was a big mistake to have him on the bench at that time. I think he even had a time-out to make the substitution where he was going to be a defender/rebounder on that possession. I think that was a major brain-fart from Nelson there. What was with the inbounding turnover as well? I am not sure if that was 100% on Biedrins. I think Bob said something about Nelson calling for a time-out. I guess Crawford was a bit confused, Biedrins thought he was going to come to him for the inbound pass, where there was an opening, but Crawford just stood still for the most part. That was very frustrating. I agree with WarriorsFan about Matt Barnes. Barnes was pretty important in Nelson's defense. I think Harrington was more of a player in it, with getting into the passing lanes and causing turnovers than what we are getting from the current 4. The team could use some of that Barnes nastiness or something. Even Harrington looked nasty when he was playing against the Warriors compared to the rest of this squad. As far as Maggette, I believe I've read on this board from a person who had seen Maggette play frequently say that since Corey's been injured so many times in the past, he opts to take it the easy way out and not be aggressive when he needs to be and will shoot 3's and from the outside at times rather than playing to his top potential and taking it inside and roughing it up. His rebounding has been less than hoped for, especially with boxing out (he and Azubuike).
I went back and looked at it and I think they share blame for that one. It was a lazy pass from Biedrins but Crawford definitely didn't come and get the ball. You can't do that with a defender right next to you. Sloppy fundamentals, but then that's really the hallmark of a Nelson team.
