I'm really looking forward to the Boston game.. that's going to be a huge measuring stick for us. I'm not expecting to win, but I want the guys to prove they belong on that stage. It'll probably the biggest stage since the LA season opener since it'll be on ESPN. And I don't really care about a big streak... I just want them to stay consistent and win the games we should, and try to win as many of the other games. Tomorrow is a game we should win.
"What are the chances? Like one in a thousand?" "More like....one in a million" "So....you're saying there's a chance."
Compete against Boston, beat Washington and Toronto. That would be perfectly fine by me even if they lose the Boston game. Streaks are exciting, but becoming an "expect to win every night" team is far bigger.
I just want 5 or 6 game winning streaks at a time so we end having the #3 or #4 west seed playoff spot to host. I'll take any west coast team in the first round of the playoffs except Lakers and Phoenix. I don't see a 13 game winning streak as I am happy with how much more depth in the bench this year.
