It is nice to see a player with a set of balls to finally call Phil out on this shit. He has been doing this for years and it always irks me. If something is fucking working, don't change it. I put this loss partly on Phil; but it doesn't excuse our defensive inabilities and our lack of rebounding. What happened to that fiery defense we were playing to start the year? What happened to that passion on the defensive end? Terrible loss. I love how Bynum is stepping up and calling the team out. He did it last week when he called the team out on their inability to hold onto big leads, saying we don't have the killer instinct Boston does. I love that. This kid is amazing.
I put this loss on the players not Phil...Its not the coaches fault they coughed up a 15 point lead in the 4th. That said Phil DOES cost the Lakers a few victories a year by purposely not putting out the most optimal lineup or not calling timeouts but its for preparation for the playoffs so its all good.
If he is doing this for years, probably he has a plan to go with his actions. Phil doesn't get too upset if he loses a regular season game and the players learn something from the loss.
Not true, anymore. Phil said he was done sacrificing losses during the regular season because he realized how valuable home court through out was last year.

Again, I cannot really comment because I didn't watch the game, but judging by the boxscore, Bynum had 17/9 and shot pretty efficiently. I'm sure if Phil had given him more minutes, Bynum could've had a monster game yesterday. I understand his frustration, and just like Mamba, I'm often confused with Phil's substitution patterns and his coaching. Let's just take this as a lesson learned and I hope it doesn't become a repeating problem this season.
