Haven't figured out why the Nets lack energy in certain games, but I figured out which games it happens in. Going back to preseason they are 0-6 when the play on Mondays and Tuesdays. 0-5 during the regular season with an average score of 88.6 to 109.4! Closest they came to a win was in Miami when they lost 94-99. 2 loses on the road and 3 at home. The rest of the week they are 9-3 with an average score of 106.3 to 102.5. Unfortunately we have 4 more games on a Monday or Tuesday in December and 15 more for the season. Hopefully they can figure out what they are doing early in the week that zaps their energy.
strange you mention that. I have class on Tuesday nights and I always thought to myself: "the Nets ALWAYS lose when I don't get to watch them"
I know what the problem is. Everytime me and a friend of mine chill and watch the game together and drink expired cherry coke, they win and Devin Harris goes nuts. We weren't chilling this time, and he was drinking perfectly healthy cherry coke. That's why we lost. Sorry guys.
not enough EtOH in the other team's blood mondays and tuesdays? I can understand monday with the day before being sunday, but no clue about why we suck on tuesdays.
Take that one close loss in Miami out of the equation and the point difference is 87.3 to 112 with every game a convincing ass whoppin' of at least 20 points per game!
We loose because we have the worst fans in the NBA. There is no cheering or energy. Everyone just sits and watches and the team needs a crowd to feed from
