It makes sense you'd be more confident calling fights for fighters you're familiar with, just funny to see it listed like that.

WOW... That's all I can say.. if you thought the fights on the WEC were good.. man o man we had a head to head here that I would call epic. First off congrats to Black Mamba as he's off to the Finals next Wednesday. He defeated Big Frame 74-55 as BF took a few chances on the main card and it stung him. Now for the other semi-final.. which was insanely close.. Hell, let me break it down for you. Diego Nunes-RD 2-TKO -So after the Diego Nunes Dec win it's 6-0 Valo -After the Bart Palaszewski KO it's 7-6 for Celtic Fan -Shane Roller Subs Mike Budnik and the lead for me goes to 13-6 -in the easiest call of the night Mark (going to the UFC) Munoz, wins by KO and it's 27- 23 Celtic Fan - Johny Hendricks finishes Haskins in the 2nd round like Valo predicted it's 40-38 Celtic Fan - Cub Swanson wins a close decision, my gut feeling fails and Valo35 takes the lead 52-40 - 4 fights to go... - Joseph Benavidez wins a convincing decision looking really good, my high lock gets me closer 57-52 Valo - Wagney Fabiano Subs tough Japanese fighter Akitoshi Tamura in the 3rd and I nail the pick. Valo has a low lock for this pick and hit hurts him 67-61 Celtic fan - Valo and I had the same pick for the Bowles/Ribeiro fight and had 9&8 locks 81-76 Celtic Fan So it's down to the last fight, I have a persumably safe 5 point lead... BUT, Valo nails the Miguel Torres fight to a T and earns a perfect 19 points.. he now has 95 points!!! Luckily I didn't get the method, but I did get the round correct, earning me 3 points for the win, 3 points for the round and 10 points for the lock giving me a grand total of 97 points!! It just does not get much closer than that!! Celtic Fan defeats Valo35 97-95 in one for the books! Great fight Valo.. you da man! The Finals are Black Mamba vs Celtic Fan (aka Lakers vs Celtics )
That really is close, I wasn't sure about alot of the fights on there I just picked something. It's weird, the WEC cards are for sure the ones that I have done the best on this year. If I did as good on the UFC cards as the WEC cards I could have had alot more points in the regular season. Wouldn't have helped me any come grand prix time, but would have made my regular season stats look nicer...
