Dude, seriously, go look up the numbers. Yao was like the sixth or seventh highest vote getter last season. Dwight Howard dominated him in votes. The Chinese vote is a misnomer. Sure, he got the most votes of a center in the west, but who was he going against?
I would disagree with Rose starting and i'm not so sure Sheed will make it this year. Devin Harris definitely deserves to make the team, he'll probably be backup. I'm not sure about Vince, he's been good but there's a lot of talent in the east. He might have some extra votes from the Yi fans though, we'll see. I don't follow the West as much but i don't see Durant and Oden starting
I don't think the Chinese vote is a misnomer. But even if it is, I still don't see how Greg gets voted in over Yao, or Shaq.
We may get Roy in the Big Game, but that's it. GO and Rudy go in the Rook/Soph game. Batum just misses it. With a roster of 10 each, they're not putting in three Blazers. That's all.
West PG - Paul | Billups SG - Kobe | Roy SF - Anthony | McGrady PF - Duncan | Stoudemire C - Yao | Shaq Others (You can pick from to fill out the roster): D. Williams, D. Nowitski, T. Parker, M. Ginobili, R. Gay, K. Durant, P. Gasol, C. Boozer, D. West. East PG - Rose | Harris SG - Wade | Johnson SF - LeBron | Pierce PF - Bosh | Garnett C - Howard Others (You can pick from to fill out the roster): J. Calderon, A. Iverson, M. Redd, R. Hamilton, V. Carter, A. Iguodala, E. Brand, A. Jamison, C. Butler, A. Bogut. That is what I got so far. I think Oden would be 4th in Center votes in the West, and probably 5th overall in Centers.
