Look at how athletic Oden used to be. It won't be long until he's running the floor like that again.

It's crazy the acceleration, speed, and lift Oden displayed in this game.

Oden needs to get down to that weight. He had the perfect build. Very David Robinson-esqe.

Also, Mike Conley is so quick. This game reminded me of how quick he really is. Tony Parker level speed.

If Oden and Conley were so great, why didn't they win that game?

Not trying to hate, just asking.

They just went up against a much experienced team. After all, they were only freshman. Both played great in that game.

But all I ever hear about that game is how Oden owned Horford and Noah, and Conley was like a ping-pong ball knocking down shots all over and dishing dimes like they were being minted.

But Ohio State lost the game.

    Doesn't that say something?

If I remember, Ohio State didn't have an answer for Florida's three point shooting. That is why they lost.

I don't know if you've seen that game, but Oden pretty much made Noah, Horford, and Brewer look like school children.

The Gators were just a much better team and were the defending champs already. Florida was much deeper then Ohio and had that Humphries guy that knocked down 3's like they were nothing. I think he did the same thing to the Ducks.

That last dunk... he should do his dunk-kick more quickly like that. Maybe the weight is slowing that move down?

The one major thing I see missing is confidence. GO knew his role with the Buckeyes and the players knew how to get him the ball and where to pick up a blocked shot.

I watched this game - and other than the crazy 3 shooting by Florida - the Buckeyes were trying to answer with 3s in the 2nd quarter instead of feeding Greg all night long - and that's what cost them the game.

If they continued to pound it in - they would have been able to close the deal - but they did not and it cost them.

Not sure what your point is? Two freshman led their team all the way to the championship game. Just because they lost doesn't mean they didn't play well.
