Good job E! While the Blazer's end of season W/L record (for this year) could be the same as as that of any previous year (all still speculation at this point), I think it will be between the 91-92 and 92-93 seasons' records. It will probably be closer to the record of the 92-93 season than to the 91-92 season. I am probably being somewhat optimistic, but then I am a fan. JAFO GO BLAZERS 波特兰篮球队好棒 很利害
Moving into a tie for sixth best start ever. Every Blazer team that started 13-6 or better made the playoffs. Apparently, there were four seasons in a row where they started 10-9 (2001-02 to 2004-05).
What makes our start shocking is the tough schedule we had. I am just astounded. Every Blazer fan right now should be thrilled beyond belief. I am. Bring out the dancing bananas, tap the glasses and light a cigar. We have one hell of a season going.
9th Blazer team ever to start the season at .700 after 20 games. Sitting in good company at this point in the schedule. Marks the end of the 1991 team's historic 19-1 start. Last season's team would be three games into The Streak. Anybody have any suggestions on what I could add to this? H/A records maybe?
Can you do point differential, if that's not too difficult? Thanks for the effort that you have gone to!
It's interesting to think that when the Blazers were 7-12, and went on the 13 game winning streak, they *finished* that streak 8 games over .500 (20-12). They're already 8 games over .500 now. Wasn't the team 7-12 before the streak?
Apparently Portland hasn't been undefeated at home after 20 games since 1977-78. Of course, they've played less home games to start the season than any other season in their history...
Okay, it's done. Now I just need to figure out how to eliminate that huge gap between the text and the table.
that 76-77 team was 12-0 at home but only 2-6 on the road...shows how big of a home court advantage MC was.
That was a funny year for everyone, after that ABA transition and all. Nobody ended up with a winning road record.
In order to keep up with the margin of victory, I had to make a spreadsheet that would calculate everything. Now I can have this every season and not have to do everything manually. Anyway, enjoy! I added win percentage as well. Any more suggestions?
Great job, thanks! Two minor nitpicks: could you highlight current season in a light colour? The black text doesn't stand out so well against dark red. Also, would it be possible to list the seasons in order of winning percentage, rather than chronological order? That makes it easier to see where the current team stands compared to history...higher is better!
I do want to do that, but I'm going to have to figure out how to reorder them every game while keeping the right functions with the right input/output cells. So far, when I copy them to a different line, they try to take data from other locations. I'm trying to find a setting or button that will allow me to copy and paste without predicting for me where I want to draw from. I'll change the red to a light blue. The red didn't come out so well in the bitmap. Originally I had the text white instead, but I wanted to keep it black for the positive MOV effect.
