Yeah, right now I'm trying to position myself to pick up Blake Griffin and either Ricky Rubio or Brandon Jennings in the draft....lol
I think they made Stro better though, because I used him last night and he was a beast online. He scored 26 points in 10 minutes and had an amazing through the legs dunk.
Just tried the new roster today, Nets are stronger on offense. Harris is still weak at passing. He throws one at the defender's leg every game. If you look at the detailed stats, Yi is still rated 76, but his 3pt rating is now 85. Lopez is better all around, and Boone is worse all around. Swat plays much better inside. Anderson feels slower. They also fixed close camera free throw bug, and it's seems harder to draw a charge now. It used to be super easy to draw a charge and it was better than blocks/steals.
I got this game yesterday! Lol I beat Indiana in my 2nd game with a buzzer-beater by Harris! lol. If anyone wants to play.. hit me up My gamertag is RELIEVE
I just completed a trade for my team... I traded Vince Carter, Josh Boone, Najera and a First rounder for O.J Mayo and Darko.. lol
Anybody interested in playing me in 2k9 sometime? I just got a xbox about 3 days ago. Add me if anything. antonomics213
Does anyone know why my NBA 2K9 very frequently freezes and require a reboot of my Xbox? This is frustrating it occurs almost every second game.
Install it to your Hard Drive. See if that makes a difference. I've heard 2K9 can be pretty buggy. Otherwise, yeah your Xbox may be dying. I'm on my second one, but so good so far.
How do I install it to my hard drive? My first Xbox broke already, I'm using the one Microsoft sent me as a replacement. I guess they aren't too great on the quality aspect, huh.
Do you have the "NXE" (New Xbox Experience)? The new dashboard update with the avatars and stuff. Also you need at least the 20 GB hard drive. Insert the game DVD (2k9 in this case), and go the dashboard if the game starts up. Scroll down to My Xbox, and NBA 2K9 should be the first "tab" in the horizontal list. Press Y on your controller to bring up game details, and choose "Install to Hard Drive". It takes about 10 minutes and about 7 GBs, so you may have to clear some space (it will tell you to do so if you need to). The advantages of installing a game to your Hard Drive is that your DVD drive doesn't need to be accessed when you play the game, making your 360 a lot quieter. Also, 99% (except Halo) of games perform quite a bit better, especially those that need a lot of loading. The "cons" are that your game DVD still needs to be in the drive when you play the game, so MS can make sure you're not just copying games and selling them. And yeah, 360s tend to be pretty fragile. Two of my other friends have had to send their 360s in as well. Fortunately for MS, they have a great online experience and the games me and my friends want to play.
Also, try deleting all the files associated with 2K9. Ie, the saved roster, settings, etc that are saved on your memory. You can do this by going to Settings under My Xbox on the dashboard. I had to do this to fix a horrendous 2K9 bug where teams/AI wouldn't inbound the ball after someone scored, leading to an unplayable game. There are other numerous reported bugs on the 2k forums, but that's the only one I've encountered.
NBA 2k9 on Xbox live does regularly crash my xbox, it does it to my friend too. it's not isolated. The create game lobby is always buggy, crashes constantly.
