I just called 95.5 and they told me their instructions from Blazer Broadcasting is not to let them put the post game on an internet stream until the 5th quarter. That's a change of policy and total bullshit. The only part of the broadcast that belongs to the NBA is the game itself. Anyway, this situation is untenable and needs to be corrected. Does anyone have his e-mail or phone number?

    Bump.

Seriously, someone needs to pull 95.5 The Game's head out of their collective asses. Their phone number is (503) 417-9595 if anyone else is pissed off about it as much as I am.

Also, neither dick.vardanaga@blazers.com or dick.vardanaga@trailblazers.com works. Can someone help me contact this guy? And if not, is there someone else I should contact?

Thanks. It's not something I need to tell most posters to this site, but I'm an idiot. I sent it through this time and it hasn't come back to me, so perhaps we'll get lucky.

I'll let everyone here know what Mr. Vardanega has to say.

Have you ever thought that maybe the VP of Blazer Broadcasting and the people at The Game know more about the rules and regulations of what they can broadcast than you do?

I'm sure they do especially the VP of Blazer Broadcasting. I know on Directv League Pass just after the Blazer game is over they usually will take the blackout off for the post game show. I think because they show the Blazer pre and post game shows and only blackout the game I would think 95.5 the game would be able to do the same thing.:dunno:

Nope. I see it in many different industries...me with 5 minutes of google search and reading a document seem to know more about the things I care about than someone whose job it is that may not have been properly trained, or may not be diligent enough to do what they're supposed to.

I'm not saying that's the case with the Game, but thinking what I just quoted is quite dangerous.

Thanks for your concern, but here are the two e-mails I received from Mr. Vardanega this morning.

    You're welcome.

On a side note, I'd like to thank Mr. Vardanega and the rest of Blazer Broadcasting for being so responsive.

I was on the phone with Dish just last week. I want to upgrade to High Def, but I told the guy I wasn't going to commit until they get CSNW. He told be on game nights at least 20% of the calls he gets are about CSNW. He said he thinks they'll have it by the end of January, but in reality there's no way he knows anything. And complaining to him about it does zero good either, imo. I've been an obsessively devoted Blazers fan for the life of the franchise, and now that they ROCK (again) I can't watch the games. I really hate this.

That would be even better! At least for tomorrow night.

The truth is I didn't make that avatar. Idea by julius. Avatar by Ed O. I just stole it. :devilwink:

Hey Ed, can you make that KG's head instead? :ghoti:

Maybe someone with skills, drive, and time, could make one for every matchup this season?
