Suns were owned by the Mavs with both Nash and Shaq playing.

So . . . this Nash idea . . . Suns could be a team that misses out on the playoffs . . . by trade deadline Suns realize this . . . they want to rebulid around their tempomental superstar Amare . . . they want young players, draft picks and cap room . . . ready:

Would you trade for Nash for a nice package of young players (Outlaw, Bayless, Blake Raef, Pick) . . . . . . and you had to take Shaq and his contract with Nash? :devilwink:

I wouldn't touch Shaw with a 30 foot bank shot at the end of a third quarter.

No freakin way. Nash is an over rated bogus MVP. Bayless will be better in 2 years for a lot longer then Canada dry.

What do you think outsider. Lopsided?

Amare and Shaq clearly don't mix well, Nash is getting old and banged up . . . Blazers have a lot of youth that will get Amare off (he will finally be top dog). :dunno:

Nash doesn't look nearly as good in a slower tempo.

If there is any player on the roster to go after it's Amar'e.

Nash still has game . . . he is basically a Steve Blake upgrade x3, and can run the break.

Just this year, Nash is shooting 51%, averaging 8 asst a game, shooting 43% from three . . . and is just a gamey vet (gamey is a word right?)

Nash is exactly what this team needs for the next couple of years.

In Dallas he was a 17/7 player. Solid, but not the D'Antoni version. Declining is just around the bend.

I just dont see why the Blazers would want Nash. I would think KP is more patient than most of you guys. IMO he would realize that by the time all your core players progressed a couple years so the can truly make an impact, Nash would be even slower and possibly on the verge of retiring.

You need to figure out how to get a decent young/middle aged PG.

Because the Blazers are gunning to take down the Lakers this year!

I'm only thinking of Nash for a couple of years, after that maybe sergio at 24 has developed, Blazers have a prospect in Europe.

I would like a Harris or Calderon, but Nash would be a significant upgrade at PG and the natives on the bench will get restless.

Well anyways I'm done with this crazy idea . . . thanks for the response.

    So Rizzle, I'm curious...

As a L*ker fan, if by some miracle we got Nash for something like Outlaw/Bayless/RLEC, would that make us more dangerous or less dangerous to you and your team? Do you think it "mortgages our future" for a couple years of Nash? Do you think that his porous D would overwhelm the upgrades he may make on offense? Would he, iyo, contradict what Roy does?

Yes, he is better than Blake. Compare better than Blake and your offer for Nash and let me know if we should pull the trigger on it?

Were you just listing our players? Blake,Outlaw, Bayless, Raef's contract and a pick are you kidding?

I think it would make you better for two years but not enough to seriously contend. After those two years it would be hurting your team because you could have been developing somebody else who would be there for the long term
