I never said it did. Just pointing it out. Why so defensive about it?? :)

Jump shooting teams go cold. It won't last. I expect us to come back a bit.

Where did I say his trash talk bothered me? I didn't. All I said was that KG running his mouth takes the spotlight off of his talent, which is considerable. Tim Duncan doesn't trash talk--he doesn't have to.

KG is awesome. I'll never understand why people dislike him. If I could assemble an all-time team, he'd be on it every time. He's exactly what you want in a basketball player.

And how can Portland fans in this very thread praise Roy for talking trash then complain about Garnet talking trash in the same game?

    1. Oden, regardless of having two fouls, needed to get in the game in the second quarter.
    2. Frye had a terrible run and was in the game far too long.
    3. Rudy and Outlaw. Ugh. God forbid one of them hit a shot, and god forbid they hustle back on defense.
    4. Aldridge//Roy/Joel playing relatively well.
    5. Refs have been poor, but that's not unexpected and there really haven't been any superstar complete BS calls yet.

And I almost forgot to give Sergio "dribbledribbleilovedribbling" Rodriguez a shout-out. He had an awesome possession earlier in the game where he dribbled the ball until there were 5 seconds left on the clock and then hucked up a three.

    So fun!

Credit where credit is due, that's from some pretty dang good defense and stagnant offense.

It is interesting how his (by far) best days were in Portland, yet if he's calling a game where Portland is playing (or Boston once played years ago, and he remembers), it's like he has to talk poetically about the Celtics instead.

I don't want him to talk super glowingly about Portland, but you'd think that he was a scrub in Portland and the MVP in Boston.

As long as Portland isn't playing (or Boston), he's palatable.

Frye's been sucking terribly lately and I've been wondering if we should have Outlaw at the 4 more often.

I wonder if the Celtics would do a Frye for Powe trade...? Doubt it.

I'm going to be pretty upset if the Blazers come out in the 2nd half with the same piss poor effort. That was just too frustrating to watch.

back to the topic at hand, the blazers need to find some god damn offense....seriously....the half-court sets dont work with Boston..

I thought you and others bringing it up meant you have an issue with it. If not, my mistake.

I think it's a good thing. He has the ability to take opposing playings out of the game by getting in their head.

If he plays him much. I think Nate needs to remember he has 6 fouls to give and he might as well let him foul out rather than bench him and not play him. Hopefully he will give him a lot of mins in the second half.

I have no probelm with Roy talking back, I think it's a good sign of leadership. But if you complain about one player doing it, you can't be a hypocrite and applaud a player on your team doing.

They need to get rebounds and get back on D! And yes, quit settling for jumpers.
