Anyone hear what the espn announcer said about frye early in the 2nd qtr? Worst 24 seconds an nba player has prob ever had. For blazer fans that sums up fryes miserable season. Serioulsy when outlaw comes back...i hope frye is in a f'in suit every night. HES AWFUL!

He had a tough game. He's had some good ones for us. Tonight's game wasn't representative.

Thanks for your opinion. Try milk instead of piss in your Corn Flakes some morning.

There was one game where Frye was taking the ball to the rim and I was actually impressed. I would bench him if he can't play like that, but some people like soft ass "power" forwards.

I almost think it is because people remember Karl Malone hitting outside shots all the time, but Malone was an entirely different player than what we have.

Wow, the MIXER is fired up. Three threads in a row. A record? One loss and the ceiling is crashing. Look, I'm not a fan of Frye's game. I like rugged back up PF in the Paul Milsap, Jason Maxiel mode. But Frye is a jump shooter and you live and die with jump shooters.

good let frye die on another team. im sick of watching his missed 18 foot jump shots and terrible rebounding.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Can you try to keep all your post-game thoughts to one thread from now on? You're upset, which is your registered trademark. But there's a bit too much MIXUM spilled across this forum at the moment. Posting all you want is cool, but there's no need to create so many essentially redundant threads. Frye being the worst player ever to touch a basketball could have been another point in your list of things that drove you crazy about tonight's game.

Surely Frye is not worse than Brian Cook?

It still goes back to last season that we need a banger down low at the backup PF spot, or give the backup PF minutes completely to Travis when Martell comes back. Channing really has no inside game at all... and it's a little frustrating to watch.

Channing was great in the game where he was raining threes and got like 17 points (heat game?) but he was not good tonight. I can see Outlaw playing more four and Webster getting Frye's minutes at least.

If we had Millsap as a backup...I love that guy.

People who don't make a name for themselves by being a gimmick and understand that 24 seconds isn't representative of what a player can actually do.

Your perspective is so warped it cracks me up. Only in your own world will a team go 82-0.

Frye really regressed this season (and he wasn't all that amazing to start with). Not only is his jumper not falling, he's been committing some truly stupid fouls on defense lately.

I'd really like to see Ike or Shavlik get his minutes to see if either of them can at least bring solid defense when on the floor.

I'd be very suprized if we resign him. Joel Freeland will be our backup 4/5 in '09. Gotta love Pritch and his drafting.

Millsap is gonna get some big bucks when he is a free agent. Boris Diaw like contract, hopefully he can live up to unlike Diaw.
