Re: Clippers trade for Radmonovic! <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Press Release - 02/14 - 6:07 PM EST (AP Photo) Clippers Vice President of Basketball Operations Elgin Baylor announced today that the team has acquired forward Vladimir Radmanovic from the Seattle SuperSonics in exchange for forward Chris Wilcox. ?Vladimir gives us versatility and he fits very well into our system,? Baylor said. ?He?s agile and he runs the floor well. We see him playing multiple positions and his outside shooting will stretch the defense and be a big positive for our inside players.? Radmanovic, in his fifth NBA season, has career averages of 10.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. The 6?10? Radmanovic is averaging 9.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 23.2 minutes per game this season. He set a new career-high with 30 points at New York on January 8, 2006 and is shooting a career-best .887 from the free throw line this season.</div>WHat do you guys think of the trade? I like this one for the Sonics. They need more agressive players like WIlcox as they are last in points scorerd against. Now the Clippers lose quite a bit at PF/C and get a decent shooter who is stuck between SF and PF.
Re: Clippers trade for Radmonovic! Man, look out for those Clips come playoff time. Another guy to stroke it from behind the arc. I like it for both teams, Radmonivic never seemed to fit in Seattle and same with Wilcox in LA.
Re: Clippers trade for Radmonovic! i like it for LA because they need bench depth. Vlad is a very good shooter, and when motivated, hustles his tail off. if he likes his role/situation in LA, he will be a very good player for the Clips
Re: Clippers trade for Radmonovic! well, you get a shooter, we get a power-man. both are doing better then before, so it was a good deal.
Re: Clippers trade for Radmonovic! Vlad is doing great for his role there so far the clips are better contenders. Vlad 6'10 for a SF hittin 3's and rebounding wit Brand and Kaman... He was pretty inconsistent on seattle especially since the sonics already had a bunch of 3 point shooters so he would stray from the offense a bit. In addition his defense is nothing to brag about. Vlad is a softy 3 point shooter compared to lewis ridnour and ray who have more guts and stronger will n determination. He plays like <Censored> when he is on espn.... so i kind of think he is inconsistent. But like i said a better fit for clippers. Sonics want Collison petro and Swift to step up as the future. It is looking bright too. Not to forget Damien Wilkins
