That means nothing now, and will mean less the closer we get to the draft. Why would the Bulls want Curry? He'd be a horrible fit with Rose, and at 6'3" 180 he's way undersized to play SG in the NBA and barely a lottery prospect at that position. Why would the Bulls or their fans want Curry when they just drafted Rose? It makes no sense. Horrible fit, won't happen.

I thought Nic Batum was a cross breed of Battier, Prince, MJ, and Jesus?

Come on, he's better than Jesus. But exactly, Portland doesn't need a SF, they need a PG.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
    Don't be silly.

Jordan couldn't defend as many positions as Batum can.

Seriously! If Jordan was so good then why didn't Pritchard draft him?!? If he was as good as they say KP would have made a move.

Yeah, he does. I'm not sure where that bias comes from. In my book he's the best PG in the nation.

Don't put it past McHale. After all he traded away Roy and Mayo. I could see him passing him up on Griffin just because of Love. It would be another monumental mistake in McHale's many boneheaded decisions.

I've loved him ever since I watched him in last year's tourney. He has a special quality in him that I have also seen in Roy.

I just wish McFail seen it too, then he would've kept him....ugh

I almost can't fault him for the Mayo trade though....even though it's clear Mayo is the better player....but did anyone seriously see Mayo staying with Minnesota past his rookie contract? At least with Love and Miller they have a couple guys who seem like they would stick it out

And I'm sure Batum can hit a curveball. It really was a bad comparison.

Not only that, but he can throw a 90+ mph curve as well. He would have been the next Babe Ruth if he hadn't chosen to be the best basketball player ever.

The bias comes from the fact that he seems (to my untrained, non-UCLA-following eye) that he gets stats against poorer teams, and then gets crushed when the competition increases. That's why I said I could be biased. Maybe the three tourney games I've watched of his in the last 2 years where he's been really exposed did it.

I could be way off on this. But to me, he's nowhere near the conversation. Just like he wasn't last draft (wasn't he projected after Ty Lawson and Mario Chalmers in the late-20's? And that's why he went back? :dunno:

Collison was awesome in the tourney last year. Easily UCLA's best and most important player, not to mention single handedly winning one of the games. He also played Rose the best out of all the guards UCLA put on him. I started a draft thread on Collison on Portland BBF, but he ended up staying in school.
