I love the rebounding advantage 48 to 31 and 18 frreaking offensive boards!! and Bosh and O'Neal are no slouch rebounders.

    Right here.

Horrible game defensively, where our starters got schooled all morning long, Blake and Roy being the worst, IMO.

No pressure put on the guards at all, Blake rarely within 10 feet of 1.

Let's not forget. Oden does some things that just don't show up in the box (and he gets blocks that should, but somehow didn't, show up in the box). Plus, he should have had another 2-3 points, but the ref stole that away.

38 minutes and only 2 defensive rebounds for LMA, ouch

You know, Steve Blake is playing out of his mind this season. I know its a contract year for him, but i have to admit i really don't know if we will find a much better replacement right now.

Quiet? What game were you watching? He was a defensive monster.

If Oden can just work on not getting stripped he will be ok. He could score another 4-6 ppg if he didn't get stripped. I think he played a pretty good game and we were better when he was in playing defense and rebounding. I noticed we didn't play Frye and I think this game is how the rotation is going to be for a while except Webster will get more minutes after he gets in shape.

Those six offensive boards make up for it, and if we lost the overall rebounding battle, that'd be an issue... but we outboarded them 48-31. And we're one of the best rebounding teams in the league.

Only 3 games left until the schedule softens and this team can catch their collective breath!

Defensive rebounding will never be his forte, especially when he's guarding perimeter oriented power forwards like Bosh and Bargnani; talk about seeing the glass half-full. LMA had 6 huge offensive rebounds which means he was being aggressive on offense.

I know, but still... you can find similar excuses for every game, but it's still amazing how a PF can get so few defensive rebounds. It was a problem against Boston and it probably will still be one in the playoffs

But, but, but....No, we need a top-tier PG. Blake is holding us back from really being a good team.

I really thought rudy kept this game alive not in just in the first half but his hustle in the 4th and getting to the long offensive rebounds. I also think Batum really stepped up on the o-boards in the 3rd kept the game close going into the 4th.

Oden is probably leading the league in bogus calls against him. He should really work on this aspect of his game ;)

Oh, yes, Maris - you are a national treasure.

Portland would have lost that game last year. I'm glad to see that they can pull it together from 16 down after a loss like Friday, even if they made a lot of mistakes later on. Good road trip. 15 of their first 22 on the road, 8-7 away from home. Bring it home.
