After determining the Big-12 championship game participants the BCS computers were put to work on other major contests and today the BCS declared Germany to be the winner of World War II.

"Germany put together an incredible number of victories beginning with the annexation of Austria and the Sudetenland and continuing on into conference play with defeats of Poland, France, Norway, Sweden, Denmark,
Belgium and the Netherlands" stated Goober Von Nuesbaum, chief architect of the BCS computer software. "Their only losses came against the US and Russia; however considering their entire body of work--including an incredibly tough Strength of Schedule and significant margin of victories in most battles--our computers deemed them worthy of the #1 ranking."

Questioned about the #2 ranking of the United States the BCS stated "The US only had two major victories--Japan and Germany. The computer models, unlike humans, aren't influenced by head-to-head contests--they consider each contest to be only a single, equally-weighted event. So even though the US came back from way down to beat Germany and used a couple of last minute long bombs to beat Japan, those issues aren't factored
    in."

German spokesperson Bobbi Shtuppesengrubber said "Yes, we lost to the US; but we defeated #2 France on the road in only 6 weeks. It took the US several years to beat us." Germany was criticized by many for seeking dramatic victories to earn 'style points' to enhance
Germany's rankings, using their first team Stormtroopers all the way into the final minutes of several lopsided battles with their "Blitzkrieg"
    offensive scheme.

Did some Texas fan make this? They really need to shut up, and beat Texas Tech next time.

This is why I hate the BCS. How did Oklahoma get in there....and they LOST to Texas...fucking LOST to fucking Texas. Talk about bullshit. The BCS is a what have you done for me lately system, and that proved with Oklahoma getting in over Texas, for both the B12 title game and the National Title game. The system is fucking broke, plain and simple.

On that notion...shouldn't the comps have declared the USA winners of ww2? If it's all about how you finish, dropping the atom bomb = 6 straight games scoring at least 60 points. In fact, the USA end up winning despite losing earlier to Japan straight up (Pearl Harbor).

By that logic Texas Tech should be in the title game since they beat Texas.

But then Oklahoma beat TT...so by that logic...you have an absolute clusterfuck.

I think TT killed themselves by getting thrashed by Oklahoma. Texas, however, beat Oklahoma, they didn't lose by 40some points.

The NFL has teams meet up more than once a year, decide this shit in a playoff format and we wouldn't need all this chaos.

See how I see it, Texas lost to Texas Tech on a last second Pontiac game changing play by Crabtree. Oklahoma lost by 10 to texas and could have been more than that. And seeing how they played each other you cant put the sonners before the longhorns.

If Texas wins pretty well in their bowl, I dont see how you dont give them a share of the national championship especially if oklahoma barely wins.

Agreed. I hate the BCS with a passion and would love to see a playoff implemented. Too bad that's not gonna happen any time soon.
