They gave up the next closest thing since Kobe. I hope Miker Miller makes them feel better about that.
Love will be a good player in the league and I wouldn't really be mad if the Grizzlies kept him, but Mayo is going to be something else therefore I'm very happy we got him instead. At first I wasn't sure about how good these two players were going to be in the NBA due to their lack of athleticism. I think both are going to be good players in the league, and people shouldn't already be saying Lopez will be a better player just because he played better against Love. Yao usually plays better then Dwight in 1 on 1 matchups, but Howard is still the better player. It's too early to say IMO.
We really don't know how good Love will end up being, but right now, Lopez is on top. And to think, people were actually debating whether Brook was better than Robin.
