    1. New York Knicks - Is there anything I could say that has not been said? What a joke. 2. Minnesota Timberwolves - They have had KG for 10 years, they have never assembled a great roster with him, they have wasted every first rounder they have ever had except Wally. What a mess. 3. Orlando Magic - They trade everyone of value, Penny, Shaq, T-Mac...etc...etc...they have wasted so many picks in the draft it is mindboggling...they draft Fran Vazquez then he says he won't play for them...Just a stupid team. 4. Utah Jazz - The team didn't get the role players around Malone/Stockton, other than Jeff Hornacek. This team wastes so many draft picks...And after they get the player after a year they dump him off. Trading players like Mo Williams and Kirk Snyder...Just a ridiculously stupid team from top to bottom, as much as I like Sloan his inability to develope young players keeps this team average. 5. Atlanta - This team has done so little in so long with almost no great draft prospects (until late). In 2004 they draft SF's Josh Childress and Josh Smith, then in 2005 they draft 6'8" SF Marvin Williams, then in free agency they sign SG/SF Joe Johnson to a max contract. Do you see what I see? Stupidity. I give them a lot of credit for signing Zaur Pachulia but other than that it's a joke. Now they have 4 good SG/SF's and no prospects at PG or PF...Atlanta is a sports hell...well...Atlanta sucks period but the Hawks don't do well with fans.

LAKERSThere isn't another GM who is as stupid as Mitch kupchak. Caron for kwame? Jumain jones for draft picks? Shaq for Odom, grant and Butler? What a joke.I hope to god Mitch and Luke walton leave the lakers permantely. Mitch was riding Jerry west.

Add the Sixers to the list. Billy King is one of the worst GMs in the league, and should have been fired long ago. People think he drafts well, but the fact of the matter is that he is not the one scouting the players and making draft day decisions: it's Tony DiLeo. Billy King is one of the five or six worst GMs in basketball right now... and I'm being nice.

The only reason I dont think Knicks are number 1 is because their drafting has been good. Besides that, most of it since the 99 run ended has been..

How has no one mentioned Golden State or Chicago?? First in Chicago, they have assembled a team of good role players and average players. They trade their only good down low player (Curry) for two guys (Sweetney and Thomas) who did nothing while they were here. Also, the Bulls draft over the last ten years (since Mj left really) they have taken good players (Artest, Brand) and trade them away for nothing. Tyson Chandler for Elton Brand straight up?? Still one of the worst trades in sports history. And in Golden State, we have a team of max contracts. Troy Murphy, Jason Richardson, Baron Davis, Mike Dunleavy Jr all get max deals, but that team only plays well when they want too. Derek Fisher and Adonal Foyle are great players, but making a total of 10mill a year is gonna kill GS down the road. And they will be much worse next year when Pietrus and his D leaves and they have no D.

Since when did Dunleavy and Murphy get maxium contracts?

Hawks GM is horrible. He does nothing to help this team win. He may want to rebuild but drafting great players at the same position won't achieve anything. Then they drafted players like Pau Gasol and trade him off for someone terrible. They have Shareef and trade him for Isiah Rider who is now been arrested..No common sense whatsoever

I say the Lakers because there is no reason at all why the lakers should be bad like they are now. I mean think about it. They has Shaq! The best center in NBA history(IMO). It's bad enough they had to trade him but they should have gotten a much better deal. IMO Dwane Wade should of been in the deal! Eddie Jones should of been in the deal. The management said they didnt want Eddie Jones back in LA though because of the past problems which is why he left in the first place but come on. There are 29 teams in the league and your telling me that was the best deal this guy could get for Shaq! There was a rumor that LA offered Shaq to Phenox for Matrix and Amare and it was declined but why stop there? That was a good offer but they could of kept going. They could have offered Shaq to anybody for a much better team and I know someone would of accepted if they would just given it a little more time. Im new by the way

Your never going to trade Shaq and get equal value...Not many older all-stars have his contract and want to be traded...so that means that a guy like Shaq would have to be traded for scrap parts.

NY makes the top five for just trading Davis, who was starting and has an expiring contract, for Jalen Rose, who is locked up for another few years and plays swingman. He needs the ball, and NY needs more unselfish players.

First, check GS salaries, my bad, thought Dunleavy was a max deal, but Troy is:http://www.hoopshype.com/salaries/golden_state.htmAnd Brand for Chandler is a terrible deal, it doesnt matter whether or not Brand wins a title, because Tyson hasnt and when you compare the two players, Tyson Chandler comes no where close to Brand over the past five years and doesnt seem to be getting closer either.

Orlando's list is much longer than Penny, Shaq, and T-mac.......you also have Ben Wallace, Corey Magette, and i think Chauncy Billups, soon you will have Steve Francis and in a few years Dwight Howard this organization is a complete crock and should just implode....they have the oldest arena around and the fans dont wanna pay for a new one so they could be moving to the midwest soon as well.
