...I haven't read through all of the threads about tonight's disgusting meltdown loss, but I am pointing the finger at Roy's 9 for 14 FT stat [that is terrible and inexcusable for a so called "all-star SG" to shoot that poorly from the stripe if you ask me:dunno:]!!! :sigh:

what is he not allowed to have a bad game at the foul line? has he not proven his consistency over the last 2 years and change?

Everyone has an off-night, where the ball falls the wrong way. It's not great, but other good players have had much worse. LeBron, for several years, had his FT% holding him back as his single biggest weakness.

Brandon was the one that gave us the lead over the final three minutes. Yeah, he sucked at the line but he knows it. That's not where the game was lost though. Our perimeter D sucked ass..

He's shooting 82% for the year. He's getting to the line more than ever. He was off. That won't happen very often. No big deal.

Figures that comment would come from a duck fan ;) Come on anyone who have has ever played basketball understands you have off nights. He was amazing last night other than missing free throws.

As I mentioned in another thread, I'm not blaming Brandon one bit, but......

He's probably blaming himself, and rightfully so.

If it's Sergio that misses so many, I think many of us jump on him.

My big problem is that ever since last night, I can't get Bill Shonely's voice out of my mind: "You've gotta make your free throws.."

Sergio and Rudy both shot 3-9 from the field - so they did not have a good shooting game at all - but I do not think we can really be too worried about this game. It sucks that we lost - but the team played very well and the Magic had one of those nights when they were draining every 3 pointer...

Heck even Joel missed a shot. 5-6 for the night. Eh...

Close this thread! We wouldn't even have been in the game without BRoy! How do you even start a thread like this?

Yeah get that fucking bum out of here.

Then again since I would call last night uncharacteristic for Brandon maybe we can ease up on him just this one time?

We win and lose like a team. Just because Roy went 9-14 from the foul line doesn't mean he lost the game for us. He scored 30. There are a lot of factors that went into a loss, and it wasn't just one person.

There is no need to always look for a scapegoat. And there is no need to point fingers.

We lost this game because we shot the 3 like crap (25% vs. our usual 40%) and the Magic could not miss the 3 (52% vs. their usual 35%). It still came to a tough degree shot in the last second to lose this game.

Overall - I am pretty happy about the way the team played. We shut superman, we controlled the boards even with Oden in foul trouble - they could do nothing against Roy for 46 minutes.

    Shit happens.

I second that. I bet the OP doesn't like LeBron either. He shoots 79% from FT.

Brandon is underwhelming at the FT line. I don't even like to be around the guy to be honest.

Quick? Quick? there was nothing Quick about it. He had to pick through the blinds to see Blazer's coach - Iavaroni - to get to it!

The reason we lost this games was because we allowed way too many transition baskets in the first quarter. The rest of the game was played very well by both teams IMO.
