After all the drama surrounding who would be a starter and the subsequent post-draft trade, you'd think everyone would be eagerly anticipating this matchup. Sadly, the team's struggles has left the fanbase pessimistic and so upset with their current roster that its been out of their mind. Consider this the water break before we get back to work. Toronto will resume their grueling set of matchups against the league's elite after this brief respite against a inconsistent Indiana team. And I think everyone around the Raptors understands how important it is to come out of here with a win tonight. The entire team has looked despondant and out of it lately, and nothing gets everyone re-focused better than a convincing victory. I bet Triano also is desperate for a strong effort against the Pacers as well: he'll want to instill confidence in his new gameplan.
STARTING LINEUPS

TJ Ford - Marquis Daniels - Danny Granger - Troy Murphy - Rasho Nesterovic Jose Calderon - Anthony Parker - Jamario Moon - Chris Bosh - Andrea Bargnani

KEY MATCHUP

TJ Ford vs. Jose Calderon
This really isn't the key to this game. We need Bosh to finally bounce back against a weak defensive team. We need Bargnani to make a contribution again and stop looking like '07 Bargs. And we need better boxing out on the defensive boards by JO. But you can't help but focus on this matchup after all the off-season drama. Given that both teams have played consistently mediocre, you can expect people to point to the individual matchups when arguing over who is a better player. Jose has shown signs of fully recovering from that hamstring injury, with some of his characteristic drives showing up in recent games. If his shooting were to return to its regular proficiency, we'd be looking at the Calderon we all expected when we re-signed him. Bigkallday will probably have an orgasm if TJ Ford has a better game than Jose.
LEO RAUTINS' INSIGHTFUL THOUGHT OF THE DAY

LMAO he probably will This is a very winnable game considering our past few opponents Besides, Pacers only play well against good teams so we should be okay
That said, this is a fast-paced team that we had a hard time putting away last year. I remember a game last year where Kapono had to go insane in the last quarter for us to even escape with a win. I could very easily see us losing this game, although I'm trying to remain optimistic. We need a win in the worst way though. I have a feeling that Bosh is close to mentally checking out.
This game is going well so far, everything is going down. Hopefully we can get a win before a tough 3 game stretch.
Word. The Pacers seem to be the only team he's really assertive and effective against. Great night for him tonight. Bas was correct with the Megan Fox choice. Is there anything she can't do?
I had to go out during the game. Can anyone give me an idea of how poorly Bargnani played? I'm honestly running out of ways to defend his recent stretch of ineffectiveness. I thought getting him back to his original position (4/5) would fix things, but that happened tonight and we got arguably his most forgettable game this season. Depressing stuff...
stop dissin Ilmago (da player lol) his decent, but this format its not for him, startin moon and kapono is a good move
Yeah, did you guys know that teams can also win games? I was completely unaware. good to know that there's other options besides losing, lol.
