Which game should we all go to? I didn't include the games on the 20th and 22nd because of Christmas.
A prob with Mavs is maybe not being able to all sit together. One of the other games might work better because the arena will be empty and we can all just sit in the same section regardless of where our seats really are.
why don't you guys contact the nets and let them know your plans, they might make some special arrangements for you. I think they did that on the other forum, and Ratner did something for them. Also, your section might get mentioned during the game...
Whenever we figure out the game, I'll get my Nets VIP manager and let her know. I'll give you guys her number and she'd be able to hook everybody up with 10 dollar tickets (Mavs again is the only iffy one). But yeah, and I want to get our name on that welcome board thing.
I'm going to the game with the Mavs with my father, kinda a birthday tradition thing me and him have for the best decade or so. I have a ticket for the Hawks game too, I'm going alone to that one. That could be a possibility for me to meet up with you guys?
indeed I just did. this is a great idea- I've met up and have developed good friendships with people on various music forums, and each time certain bands come around, we all meet up again. we can make this an S2 tradition of sorts.
I've never done anything like this before. But I have great friendships because of things like basketball, or politics, or TV shows, and whatnot. And I'd love it if we all got a chance to do this more. A lot of us go to a lot of games anyway, might as well meet up and enjoy the game together. On a side note, wouldn't it be a funny idea to wear nametags with our S2 usernames on it? lol
heh, if we do that, maybe we can have an out of towner nets fan "ask the announcers" if they've ever seen Net fans wear name tags or something silly like that.
voted for the hawks more ideal on a friday night and everything... i would've selected the blazers too, luv to see Oden up close...
I like this idea...and agree, there will be enough space (they only reported 16,000 or so for the Knicks game last night). I also think we could probably get one of the VIP managers to give us access to one of the clubs to meet up at halftime or between quarters.
