Another Wizards game. Everybody looked like D-leaguers. No fight, no spirit, no rebounding, no defense, no nothing.
He's weak in the post. As Krstic said the key for him to be successful in the NBA is to improve on his defense and rebounding. Which is why he is playing over seas now. Yi from what I seen is a shoot first player. That nice jumper is okay but is not as impressive as a player who can play in the post rebound and defend.
I can't bust Yi's defense tonight because all the nets pf, sf, couldn't stop Harrington or chandler. The nixs spread the floor and exposed the nets forwards.
There is absolutely nothing to build on from this game. The only thing that we learned from this game is that we can not keep people out of the lane and we are terrible at closing out on shooters, hence all of the cheap fouls.
Damn ya'll...can't win em all. The post season is when it counts, it's safe to say New Jersey can be a 6th or 7th seed....The Nets can use this game as an opportunity to learn.
the old nets teams couldn't beat the suns when coach D was there, and now they can't beat the nixs with coach D.
This is one of those games that shows the Nets need a defensive specialist that can come in the game and try to slow down a player that is in a groove. Maybe if Najera was healthy he could have slowed down Harrington tonight. But the Nets also need a defender that can guard swing men and make it difficult for them.
the nets are an okay team but the real test is to come. The team doesn't seem to play well at home and majority of their games being at home this month might expose us to who the nets really are. So far after coming back from the road trip they beat the Wolves and the 76ers but have lost to Knicks and Wizards. Friday the Raps coming to town. The Nets could be below .500 by new years if they are not careful
There were way too many plays in the second half where there was an iso for Devin and he'd launch one up. It was going down in the first half..but once he got cold..you can't do that every play. Devin needed to look for open guys then
Get rid of Sean or don't play him...geez It seems like he's a good guy on the bench and offers his teammates support, but he wasn't playing defense and giving up too many fouls.
I can't get over how bad of a loss this was. Is it just me or was the only life we saw in the Nets tonight was when they were giggling and joking around with the opposing team (supposedly our rivals). I need to see a nastyness and there aren't many guys on this team that possess that except for Eddie N. and possibly Lopez.
