true people need to chill on this the nets have a better record. i am a nets fan but lets be reall the nets at best are an okay team. if they make it to the playoffs it will be 7 or 8 seed. the nets can not win at home and have lost to the wizards annd knicks. so have the pistons but they are on their way down. the nets record is fool gold. until they show they can protect home and actually play well in the 3rd they will just be an okay team also as i said earlier people are starting to fiigure out devin harris.
hey, I know the Nets are an ok team, but as long as we have I better record the the Knicks I don't care I just hate the knicks that much, hopefully they lose the next couple games and just get blown out by the teams and the Nets win more game.
even the best teams lose to the worst teams I've seen it happen, so who cares if the Nets lost to the Knicks, I'm sure the Knicks will lose the next couple of games, and the Nets will win
I watched that game. Totally sucked. Never liked Starks to begin with, but that sealed my hatred right there.
I always thought Kenny Anderson was over rated, the guy can only use his left. Kenny #2 pick bust, Starks undrafted but became a Star. Starks > Kenny
All you have to say is that they're in your division. I hate every other team in the Atlantic for no particular reason (except for you guys... you assholes know what you've done). If there's one thing that's truly great about sports, its that fans can harbour intense, unjustifiable, unexplainable hate for any number of people. In every other aspect of life, there's a constant aim to eliminate hate and reduce animosity. People who hate other cultures, colours, languages, nations, lifestyles, etc. are shunned, ridiculed, and rebuked (rightfully so). Not in sports though. I can express my utter disdain and hate for an entire group of people (oh, let's take Nets fans as an example), and instead of being labelled a bigot I'm just considered a passionate fan.
You are right - even the best lose to the worse and follow up that loss with a blow out loss at home to a sub .500 team.

guy, you have too many excuses. Better is better, stop murmuring about blah blah blah... Imagine if Lakers still complained about 2008 NBA Final, who would have cared about them ? Winner is the winner, loser is the loser. If you want the excuses, I can give you more. We sent away our leading scorer this summer, and a hall-of-fame Point guard, not to mention we have so many rookies and new players just joining the Nets. By the way, D'Antoni is better than Frank, but... the Nets just have the better record, face it, and we are just playing better than you. Your team can't go anywhere, your coach likes to play offense.
