Just found out tomorrow they are releasing the first all-star ballot update at 10 AM. I know the fans won't vote BRoy in as a starter, but it will be interesting to see where he stands.
No chance our boy Roy makes it on as a starter. Kobe and CP3 are locks to be the starting guards. Cant really argue with that. I'm confident the coach's will pick Roy again, he deserves it. He's one of the top guards in the league.
Letting the fans vote is a joke! If they are going to use fan votes, make it count as a % along with the coaches and media. In Sacramento a couple weeks ago, they actually played a video on their big screen trying to get the fans to vote in KMart, Garcia and Brad Miller as starters!!!!
I keep hearing vote for Roy, Aldridge and Oden from Trailblazers and that's a joke too. Roy is the only one that deserves votes.
Roy being 10th is total BS. He should be 3rd, maybe 4th. Billups and Roy should behind Kobe and CP3. Camby should be one of the top centers.
Allen Iverson is getting the repeat votes he always gets. There is absolutely no reason for him to be on the All-Star team this year. He pretty much single handedly crashed the Pistons record after joining them. Devin Harris is waaaay too low on that list. I've been voting for Harris. Rafer Alston and Jason Terry........ wow. Time to vote guys. This is just sad.
We don't have enough people in town to get Brandon the votes. He'll make the reserves no problem which is where he belongs anyway.
It doesn't really matter. Fan voting has always been stupid, and I partially blame the NBA for putting out the ballots so early. I do find it bizarre that Parker and Ginobli are so high. Each of them has missed like half the season so far. Sure, they are talented enough, but All stars are supposed to be based on their play this season.
