Let that sink in and then appreciate our 15-9 record. We've only lost to one sub .500 team and we have beaten playoff caliber teams such as Houston, San Antonio, Orlando (on the road), New Orleans, Detroit (on the road), and Miami (twice). We also recently concluded a 4-1 road trip. That's quite a feat. Now we get 10 of 12 games at home. A 9-3 record over that time (totally doable) would put us at 24-12. That puts us right on track towards being a serious contender two years from now.

Oden played decently tonight. He actually has a tendency to play well late in games. In his first few good games (13/8, 22/10 etc.) when he came back, he got off to slow starts and then started turning it on late. It felt like that tonight. It shows me that he cares about winning and turns his game up a notch down the stretch. I'm still pissed that he can't hang on to the ball as much as I wish, but I'll let him figure that out. Who is coaching this young man?

Yeah.. I pretty much hate our schedule. There aren't many gimmes coming up on our homestand before heading out east again in January. The good thing is though, that after the Clipper game, we have just two home games in the next nine days.
The guys could probably use the break and the practice time to get it back together, and get back on track.

My girlfriend watched the game with me (she is a saint) and she commented that our team looked tired.

They definitely are, and while three pointers seem like the easy way out when you have tired legs they are actually the worst thing you can do when tired. 1-2-3-4 Go Brick City, not gonna get that win baby.

LaMarcus played well tonight, when he got the ball anyway.
