Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? MJ and Kobe were high flighers in their earlier days. They didn't rely on their jumpshots and were explosive players [Mj being the most explosive]. Wade is at that stage.Kobe and MJ were both cocky guys in their earlier years. All of them play the shooting guard position. Then later on in their careers they stop driving like they used to and started taking jumpshots. Sometimes that can be a detriment to themselves and their team [kobe's case].So if wade can mix them up, drive but still take jumpers how dominat would he be? The guy is already unguardable and if he added more to the arsenal than that would be freakish.

Stop comparing to Michael Jordan, I can make a huge list of NBA players that grew up cocky/dunked the ball then matured and learned to shoot and develope a complete game. Tell me something I didn't already know. Kobe is awesome but until he leads his team anything over .500 it doesn't matter.

Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? My god, Kobe is averaging an amazing 35ppg but Allen Iverson is averaging a career high 33ppg and is just as effcient this season and nobody is going nuts over that...
Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? All Kobe Talk is <Censored>. He goes off and scores 81 points that does not mean he should be MVP or whatever just because of that. As BCB posted another topic as his stats, he is beating everyone in scoring and that is about it.
Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? I WAS TALKING ABOUT THEIR STYLE OF PLAY YOU IDIOTS.I didn't mention kobe's 81 or him being mvp. Just because it has kobe doesn't mean it's all about kobe. I was talking about all of them being similar in their style of play.
Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? I really don't see the comparisions...it's called maturing as a player...this is nothing amazing...Yes they play the same positions, they score..they develope a jumper...etc...but...yeah...
Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? Kobe bryant and Michael jordan are carbon copies in their style of player, MJ just looks more smoother. The swagger, his jumpshot everything. He's not original.Wade on the otherhad is in his earlier years, he's still explosive and raw.

Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? I'd like to see a thread where Melo doesn't talk or mention Kobe or Lakers.
Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? if he can start taking and making 3 pointers (wade im talking about) then he might be able to do somthin I dont know what but maybe be better then Lebron he has the tools to do it a dominate center, size and speed great court vision and can play 3 postions I think he will be a super super star if he gets a constant jumper and 3 point shot
Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>No <Censored>, want to join my Kobe WHO? club Rok?</div>Yea, but it should be rephrased to Kobe Whose not on my cockasaurus. Nevermind too long.
Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? I can definately see the similarities in wade and MJ, but not Kobe. Kobe is different. He was never the driver MJ and Wade are, nor as explosive. Graceful, but not explosive. Kobe is alos a much better 3 point shooter.I can definately see MJ in Wade. Both very raw, and great midrange shooters and in clutch.
Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? I agree with the original poster. I have ESPN classic and when I see MJ play, the first thing that comes to my mind is Kobe/Wade. They have identical playing styles.
Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? Kobe wasn't as explosive as jordan was. And jordan later in his career became a good 3 point shooter. I think it was because they shortened the line.

Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? Wade is more of a PG than Jordan or Kobe. The only thing that concerns me about Wade is that the man is getting injured alot lately, and he's still young. LeBron has yet to experience that when it comes to bad ankle injuries and such...which is great...but Wade's gotta take care of himself and hope to God he has a great trainer in Miami, because Jerry Stackhouse was looking fabulous with a near 30 PPG average...until he went down with an injury, and then he became a sixth man.

I think Wade has missed only 2 or 3 games this year.Actaully this off-season Wade was training with Tim Grover, the trainer for Michael Jordan back in the day.
Re: Isn't it freaky how MJ/Kobe/Wade are alike? Just because he was MJ's trainer doesn't mean he's a miracle worker...I lot of player train with him. Wade is bound to get injured because he's constantly driving to the basket and falling down.
