According to various sources today, Juanito Ibarra, the fired former trainer and manager of former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quentin Jackson, recently had a letter sent on his behalf to Wanderlei Silva asking to train him and promising him secrets on how to beat Jackson--as if the first two times Silva beat Jackson were at all hard to comprehend. Silva has reportedly refused the invitation as it is unethical. Silva claims accepting such an invitation could open him up to having Ibarra do the same thing to his next opponent.

Is this the desperate act of a man destined to fade away from MMA ingloriously or just a concoction of someone to tarnish the name of Ibarra further?

I hope it was just some asshole that doesn't like Ibarra, because it is just really low on his behalf to do that. First you steal money from him, and now your trying to screw him over in a fight against a guy that needs no help. Provided he did write that letter, he's just a complete asshole.
