its so dead at the IZOD. During the nets fast break there was no loud cheer, no long drawn out sigh after the missed 3. WHERES THE ATMOSPHERE!?
With Anthony Parker not playing, there's absolutely no reason for Vince Carter to be playing so poorly. He's taken himself out of the game somehow. Reminds me of the last season he played with Toronto except he actually looks like his poor play is bothering him.
This is becoming a really grim game for the Nets: everyone is missing put-backs underneath, Vince is 0-10. Vince is now getting benched for our 2nd round rookie (well that's a harsh description)
In the past injury has been his kryptonite, and is what got him a lot of bad rep last season. I have no idea what could cause him to be so bad tonight. Where's Parker?
He's got a minor knee injury I think. Didn't play against Indiana either. He said he'll be back Sunday though.
Vince didn't show up tonight, and so there shouldn't be any surprise that the Nets lost tonight. Still, I can't wait to see all the Nets-fan retards talk about trading various players, and labeling other players busts as a result from this one game.
"Are you saying boo or boo-urns?" I'm watching that episode of the Simpsons during commercials. So funny.
Only they can advocate blowing the team up and still make every proposed trade scenario ridiculously slanted in their own favour.
woooo, the exams aren't going to be too hard. But i need Monday at 5 to come right now. (2 tomorrow, 2 monday)
Brook Lopez is over 7 feet tall and has a long wingspan, even for a 7 footer. He gets a lot of them even without having to jump that high. Unfortunately he's not very good at positioning himself on the court, and relies on his natural talents rather than use his head. If someone would just box him out and be physical with him, he'd be taken out of the game.
Bagged milk > Vince Carter. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Vince dunked it and it rimmed out. OMG he finally got fouled.
There's something slightly wrong when you play your division rival, finally score 1 point, and then in a jokingly manner thank the crowd for their sarcastic applause.
