Source: ESPN.com They look nice, but I don't like the idea of Kobe playing in low top shoes. This team has a history of ankle injuries and with the amount of contact Kobe draws on his drives he's just asking for it. Thoughts?
I'm not overly fond of the the thought of low tops either. However, I think if anyone can figure out how to play in them without hurting himself, it's Kobe. He's a smart player and will know what he should and should not do. On a side note...I want.
Kobe needs to rock these again: ROFL I love Kobe but I have never been a big fan of his shoes. The new ones actually don't look too bad, according to his standards.
God I remember those shoes. Those things were huge and weighed a ton and weren't that cool looking, at all really.
Maybe he was blind for a split second when Nike showed him the designs? Or maybe he was hung over that morning when he talked to them? Who knows, but those shoes were certainly not the best he's had. Though, I've seen worse. LeBron's first shoe when he came in to the league...ew. In fact...all of LeBron's shoes....ew.
Those shoes were ugly as hell, but they were one of the best functional shoes for indoor hoops I played with.
My thoughts exactly. I would never have paid the $140 that Foot Locker or Finish Line were asking for them.
I didn't pay fool price for them. I actually bought 3 pairs for $149.99 at the Adidas outlet. They're hella comfortable for indoor hoops and walks on the moon.
I got those for $10 bucks brand new at an Adidas outlet since they were selling so bad for a bball tourney
