Who here is ready for a Miami Heat championship ring? I really hope we get it this year. I think if we get the Pistons out of the then it is ares for the taking. I think that if we give Wade and Shaq the ball and keep Sheed's three game away and slow Tayshaun down it will be pretty easy to win it.

I think last year it was a realistic opportunity but Walker and J. Williams I feel has hurt their chemistry. They need to help make Shaq and Wade better which they haven't. They (Walker and Williams) play like they're still in Memphis with trying to do things by themselves. That along with the improvement of Detroit will be really tough to get through.

I think by the time playoffs come we'll be ready. Our chemistry has been building up very nice lately and we're on the verge to having a strong second half. Just gotta stay healthy.

J-will has played out of his mind this year, when healthy. Walker is up and down, hasnt been consisitient yet. IMO, if Shaq and Wade are healthy in the playoffs, I dont see anyone beating them.

It is the defense that is killing Miami. Billups should have his way against Miami in a playoff series. Detroit is clearly the better team even though they lost that last game that they really let slip away. Shaq and Wade had phenomenal games.

I have seen 85% of the Heat games this year. When J-will is healthy enough, hes a top 5 PG in the NBA. No one can stop his penetration, and now hes shooting a career best behind the 3 point line.Of course the Heats defense is subpar, it was to be expected. But who can really stop their offense? The Pistons lost to the Heat because of Wade and Shandon Anderson. We all know what Wade did, scoring the Heats final 17 points and the eventually GW. Anderson shut down Rip in the final quarter, by limiting his touches. He went 1 for 3 with one turnover in the ENTIRE 4th quarter.

i'm a knicks fan but i still love the heat. shaq and d wade is a nice combo. they should've won last year but wade got hurt. i was mad. i think this year they got a nice chance as long as shaq is healthy. wade was unbelieivable against the pistons. i think they got a good chance this year.

People are forcing him to take open jumpers since they are guarding against penetration from Wade and double teaming Shaq. Jason Williams is a poor defender also. I also wouldn't put too much emphasis on that one game since any team on any given night can win. Miami is missing Eddie Jones a lot since Posey hasn't been close to what Eddie did for them last year. Shaq is not the same player either as in the past or even last year during the regular season. We'll see if your correct when the team is fully healthy but I have my doubts.

Offensively he's been lights-out from three, shooting a much better percentage than Jones and even defensively he's played outstanding. I think Posey was an upgrade. EJ's lost a step these last few years and is on the decline. Posey gives us better size and can do everything Jones did. Also, Shaq is getting closer to where he was last season, every game. The problem was the injury he suffered in the beginning of the season was a huge setback, but he's finally back to normal now.

Well Eddie Jones gave the Heat a third offensive threat. Posey doesn't do much but hit an occasional 3. Posey isn't involved in the game enough as well. I hardly notice him and I think he is a very overrated defensive player. Josh Howard was scoring on him at will.

Eddie Jones wasn't that big of an offensive threat and was a very streaky scorer. Anyways, scoring is not a problem now. Posey's defense may be a little overated, but we need someone who's smart with the ball, which Shaq or Wade can kick it out to when being doubled and consistently shoot well. Which Posey gives us, while still providing solid D.

I think Heat have more then just Pistons to worry about, if their able to get past them. Their 0-7 against, Spurs, Suns, and Mavs. It ain't no easy road to Finals.

We definitely can get a ring, but it is going to be very tough. I think that if we can get by the Pistons, we have a great shot at the championship. Not neccesarily because we are better than any Western Conference team, but with the momentum of beating a team that for the first half of the season was being considered one of the best teams ever, I can't see us falling. However, in order to beat the Pistons, we need to take advantage of Shaq on Big Ben and really just play the best we have all season.

I think the Heat can win it all. The Heat have a lot of talent. They just have to put it together and get their team chemistry down. Dwayne and Jason Williams can be the one of the best backcourts in the NBA. Antoine Walker is a great player, along with James Posey. Over the offseason they picked these guys up hoping they would have a little more production. With Shaq and Mourning down low, with the addition of Haslem, they have a great low post presence. If Wade becomes clutch against the Pistons like he did when he had that 17 point run by himself at the end of the game to comeback and win, then this team can do a lot in the playoffs.
