I heard this is place to go to get this question answer lol.

Describe the United States' foreign policy breakdown from the Neutrality Proclamation until the war of 1812. What events in Europe forced the United States to proclaim neutrality? How did the US violate neutrality? How did Great Britain and France violate American neutral rights? What led the US to declre war on Great Britain?

Sorry I miss last class becaus emy car got towed. Can someone help me? Thanks I will appreciate it a lot

    Hahaha. That is so awesome.

I would recommend that you wiki it, but remember that you're talking about 18 or 19 years of history between the Proclamation and 1812. I'll throw out some stuff for you to consider, though. Maybe others can flesh it out.

The main driving force in Europe (as opposed to domestically) was the French Revolution and the new regime's war against England. Internally, the US had the Federalists (Hamilton, Washington) and the Republicans (Jefferson, Madison)... the latter tended to be philisophically predisposed to the French and against the English.

18 or 19 years of internal politics for the US is a LONG time at that point. Hamilton and Washington were dead. Madison had become president on the heels of Jefferson... not a lot of pro-British politicians and decisionmakers were left.

Rather than me continuing to type, maybe you could peruse http://www.laughtergenealogy.com/bin/history/war1812.html ... it goes into some issues like impressment (which was a BIG deal for the Americans... the British taking American sailors and making them join the British navy) and other issues that lingered after the Revolution until the War of 1812.

Agree with Ed...Impressment was a MAJOR factor.

If you are skipping class because you think you can get a similar education on a Blazers message board you should just drop out now and get a minimum-wage job, and save yourself the cost of tuition and books.

C'mon, we've been offering a high-level education for years here at BlazerFanU.
It's not similar to what one would get in class - it's far better.
    Fewer coeds, however.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
A few more coeds and we'll get accreditation to give degrees. Well, not real degrees. Law degrees.
