That's actually a lyric from the Violent Femmes (one of my favourite bands) that I'm quoting, not a position statement. I've actually never heard Lamb Of God. I like hard rock and metal from time to time, but it's not my favourite genre.
Had a friend like that back in the day...dragged him to a Slayer/Pantera concert. I lost him in the crowd. Next time I saw him he had ripped off his shirt and was going full force in the mosh pit proclaiming how freaking awesome it was. I was so proud of him
Well Im a metal head and pretty picky about which metal bands I get into since IMO they are mostly crap (like any other genre of music). If you want to give the a chance I recommend their album titled "Ashes of the Wake". VERY VERY good album IMO. Everything is great in it but the drums are the top dog.

i have to agree, but more because they're musically boring than grating (i just had to sit through most of their walk with me in hell DVD, yawn). i'll take old metallica any day.
Well old Metallica is the holy grail so yeah...So Ive heard at all their concerts they pretty much play nothing from load, reload, and st anger....they are smart
