Hey, everyone seems so down around here. Come on, our Nets are above .500! Who would have thought it? What I'd really like to know is how often since the finals years has the team had a record better than .500 on christmas? Does anyone know? I think this team usually does better after the new year--a great sign of things to come!!

    Go Nets!

and with the december schedule being full of teams under .500 the nets should do well. Unfortunately for the nets most of the games are at home. This could be a bad thing.

But more importantly than the above .500 record is the progress of the two top draft picks. They are already contributing and are coming along fine. Brook Lopez is proving all the draft experts wrong, and he should've been a top 3 pick. I'd say right now he is a solid starting center in this league, and his upside is unlimited.

Ryan Anderson if given alot of minutes can produce in this league, and of course i believe he should be a starter. I think eventually he will. Yi has gone back to his disappearing act, and continues to struggle with playing defense.

As soon as Hayes comes back and it should be real soon i think the nets will be back to their winning ways. Either way its fun to see this young team develop and winning is just icing on the cake. Its also a pleasure to watch Vince Carter mature into a complete basketball player and is really showing his leadership skills. I've enjoyed watching this team more this year than say the past 3 years when they were expected to win. This is a fun year to be a nets fans, nothing really to lose, and only to gain as they improve...

    oh yeah, go nets!!!
