Once again... me and Nitro aren't saying that AI is better than Kobe or whatever, but we're saying that the gap between them is not as wide as many members around here are making it out to be.

Yeah, it was a bad prediction, but that was at a time where Hornets, Kings, Lakers and Rockets were all within 2 games of each other. Kings were coming on very strong, and if T-Mac didn't get injured in early March, they would have made it. Hornets also took a HUGE nosedive in that last month.
I did bet about 50 bucks on Rockets making playoffs, but whatever. Unexpected injuries and such is what made me lose the bet, not the team under-performing, so it isn't a big deal to me (although my wallet still feels it).

The end of their season was dominated by home games, plus Kwame and Lamar hit a groove, which was unexpected.
If it wasn't for a H-U-G-E collapse by the Hornets, and if T-Mac didn't get injured, Lakers wouldn't have made the playoffs with the record they had.

Injuries are a result of bad luck but collapses are a result of youth and inexperience. Youth=Inconsistency Inconsistency=Occasional Collapses
As I said it wasn't a good prediction, but considering T-Mac was back for a month and Rockets were like 15-2 prior to his injury, it was a good bet to say they would have made playoffs. As for Hornets, it also wasn't a bad prediction to say that they'd make it as they made it through 2/3 of the year in the 7th seed.
