Ofcourse they'll say that. You don't expect them to say how bad they messed up.

Can't wait 'till Devin torches the Mavs Friday night..

I wonder how Kidd will be playing on the count of everybody saying the Nets got the better deal. I hope Devin goes for 40 against Kidd!

Kidd couldn't guard quicker PGs last season. This season he hasn't become younger. Devin, using his speed, must torch Kidd for 40.

That'll be the biggest upset if Devin don't get 40 Friday...on either Kidd or Barea.....Barea at 5-11 has been starting the past 5 games or so. May see some Kidd on Vince.

Nope, the Mavs still have Dirk, JT who has been on fire, and Josh Howard is back from his injury.

Pretty much the truth right there. Also I expect the Nets to have a better road record than home. I wonder if any team has ever done that?

but you know Nets are going to start to win at home sometime, so you got to think next game might be the best one for them to win and Dirk is a bitch I hope they hurt him:devilwink:

Agreed. I mean, Anthony- freakin - Johnson put up 40 on Kidd in a playoff game a few years back in Indiana.

Neither was Harris. Let's be realistic.

In Dallas last victory over the raptors Dirk had 27, Terry had 27, Howard had 20 with other bench players scoring. Oh and jason kidd shot 50% with his usual assists. If they stay healthy Kidd can go far with this team. BTW, they have a better record than the nets at 14-10, and have won like 6 of their last 7 losing to the fakers.

Don't discount Kidd and his court management skills. There is a reason Dallas gave up a boatload for Kidd. Dallas has a good shot of winning 50+ games this year. They will be in the playoffs and with Kidd having a full year under his belt and a better coach, expect them to go deep into the playoffs....

    oh yeah, go nets!!!

we didn't bring Harris in to win a championship, mavs wanted Kidd to win one, I don't see them winning anytime this year, I guess when he walks to another team to get a ring they can try to get a player who will actually help them. I don't hate Kidd just the mavs so hope they don't win, which they won't this year so I am happy:clap:

marla basically answer this but I will take it a step further. The Mavs are done. Game Over man. D Wade killed them in the finals and the warriors buried them. The Hornets basically pissed on their graves.

Now the time will come where the Mavs realized they are not going to win anything with Dirk "soft as that bear that does the laundry commericals" Nowitzki. When they trade him the pieces they received could help them in the future.

Terry is old Dampier is old Kidd is old. At least with Harris and Josh Howard you have something to build towards the future. Now the Mavs are in a very bad situation. It will be years before they will be able to recover from this trade.

At least with Harris they would have something to build on.

As I said the Mavs are done. This reminds me of the story the Emperor's New Clothes. Cuban won't admit it because of pride but he is butt ass naked and everyone is laughing.

Kidd was brought in to win a chip, Harris was brought in to help Nets back to winning. Which one seems more likely?????
