Olic wouldn't be a good choice. As a striker, his age is a deep concern, he's shown his age in his form the past few months and he won't even receive much playing time anyway. Podolski needs to leave simple because he deserves far more then what this club is giving him. Who do you think they should bring in, CK? Realistically.
I personally think we lack a striker M21, Toni for example is great if everything is set up for him and he just has to make the final push for the ball to get it in, 95% of the other time, he's useless. Defensively I think we're good, we can do better, and I was hoping they would go after Cana, he's not that expensive for the midfield and is a top defender as well as captain at Marseilles. Other than that I'm really not sure who else is out there that can help Bayern. At times I think it was a bad decision to let Hitzfeld go, he was doing a great job with this group and anytime you break that relationship up, thinks usually head south. We'll find out if they do better in January and February.
Toni can't do anything else though, he never could. He's a typical center forward. His job at that position is to wait for the pass and either head in the ball or finish it any other way he can. His only job is to score goals and he gets the job done. They need to surround him with two wingers instead of another striker like Klose. Either get rid of Toni or Klose and keep Podolski and play him more alongside a deep-lying striker/winger like Luis Suárez.
