Apperantly the Knicks are going after Darius Miles and Theo Ratliff, probably the best move they have suggested in their arsenal of trade rumors. Miles was having the best year of his career before he got injured, he's finally getting a lot of Playing Time. I would love to see this because Darius Miles has the talent, he just needs someone to stear him in the right direction. He's been on horrible franchises (at the time he was on the team) ever since he got into the league and to his defense he's never really had a solid team. He was on what looked like a high school basketball team with the Clips, those god awful Cavaliers of the early 2000's and now he's on the Blazers and hasn't faired out to well there. He's still young and I think Larry Brown could turn him into a great player.

Eh, I'm not too high on the move until I know the specifics of it, and even then I probably won't like it. Miles is young, but has not shown the ability to stay healthy or in some cases, stay out of trouble. Ratliff would be good for defensive purposes, but we can't have him taking minutes away from Frye. Then it has to be found out who we would be giving up for these two. The assumption would be Penny or Malik Rose or some other high priced veteran w/ and expiring contract, then probably one of our younger players. Overall the Jail Blazers have turned down deals from the Knicks already in the past month, so I don't see any deal going down between these two teams. But if it does somehow happen, I'm not sure how I'll react to it, but knowing the way Isiah works, I probably won't like it.

I makes more sense than bringing in Steve Francis

Well that is true...but now I just read that it's David Lee who would be in the deal. In reality, I don't want us to make any deals where we bring in high priced veterans because that is what we should be getting rid of only. But yeah I understand what you mean WTTJ....I'd rather have these two for Penny and Lee than to make that horrendous trade for Steve Francis and especially the one involving Frye to the Nuggets for K-Mart.

I didn't hear about them shipping David Lee....good call KnicksFan, I wouldn't be a fan of this either if it meant giving away young guys for borderline big salary players. This sounds so weird coming from someone from Boston from myself, but I want the Knicks to do well, I would love to see a knicks vs. celtics Eastern finals.

Yes, it involves David Lee....I don't think David Lee is anything amazing but adding Ratliff would be a salary disaster...

if it involves david lee than it's awful. lee brings so much intangibles to the table. ratliff and miles are both injured so i don't see this trade falling through. if it does then they better keep the youth like nate, lee and frye. i actually like the team we got now. yea we suck and can't win but its only cuz steph was hurt and larry is driving everyone crazy. david lee was a starter during the 6 game winning streak. he also brought the knicks back the other night against the raptors.
