THANK YOU!!!! that's the messed up B.S i have been seeing from Coach Frankl... TANK the FRANK! seriously how is he not fired? fails to have the team come out of halftime with any energy, goes with the wrong matchups constantly, says the same ol garbage pertaining to the same old flaws week and after week... but no he's "safe" bendejo....

on a side note, didn't see the game and glad i didnt...it's nice to blow double digit leads. Was Harris driving to hoop in this game? i notice he's been very flat in recent games...

The CBA and NBA are two different leagues. There is no Shaq, Dwight Howard, Bynum, etc. to deal with in the CBA.

Yi isn't a shooter in china, so he isn't a shooter in NBA either, Yi is Dirk Nowitzki killer, so he can guard all NBA PF, WZZ can guard YAO well, Yi's defense > WZZ, so i believe yi can guard yao well too, so yi can guard almost all NBA center. but yi's defense habit has somehow regress, when he guard his man he hardly jump, maybe his coach tell him "this trick" to avoid foul or something else, but i don't think so and it just doesn't work.

chinese basketball club full of 7 footers, so yi isn't against a 5'5" center. yi need to get tougher and stronger, this just he second year, everything still doesn't work out yet.

NO one can guard shaq Dwight Howard one on one, yi just doesn't strong enough, but i think he stronger than yao's rookie year. yi has better hand, he can grab the rebound firmlier than yao.

That was me! And yes, it was true again last night. If Simmons and Yi gave them anything last night, they would've won. We say that a lot, don't we?

Exactly. You and me are on the same page. Dirk was out muscle in the paint in game 6 finals by Haslem. Think about it and in the fourth qt wit6h 8 mins left the mavs had already put the Heat in the penalty. Yet Dirk scary self still taking jumpers.

    7ft jump shooters are waste.

You guys will laugh, but I'd honestly start Stromile. He's the closest thing they have to a true power forward. He knows what he can and can't do. He'll block some shots, finish down low and rebound.

And I'd play Yi more at the 3. He can't guard anyone anyway, so might as well give him a mismatch on offense, since that's all he knows.

Unless it's Dirk, having a power forward stand out and shoot 3s is pointless. Look at the Pistons, when Rasheed goes down low, they play better, when he settles and shoots 3s, they lose. A power forward has to provide a presence down low and help out the center down there.

But shooting was his main strength in the eyes of EVERY SINGLE SCOUT! Yi is a finesse big man, so his strength isn't banging and he should be able to out-quick other bigs. LMAO There is a reason Wang Zhi Zhi isn't int he league, he's a 7'3" shooter, otherwise further proof 7-foot jumper shooters are worthless considering he's out of the league.. Zhi-Zhi only gives up 3 inches to Yao, and Yao uses his size to score, so I don't see how this comparison does anything comparing Yi guarding guys like Dwight or Amare that use speed and power rather than all size. No one in China is on the same level and the players aren't the same caliber as the NBA. That's why there are only 3 chinese players in the league. Everyone wants to play in the NBA because it's the premier league in the world, so all of this stuff he did in China is the equivalent to what Brook Lopez did in college (where he dominated) or what guys do in Europe...it all means nothing now. There are only so many tricks a coach can teach to play defense, sometimes it's just about the effort and the players ability to pick up on stuff.
