I somewhat agree with you but...I was still in "gotta make sure I fuck him up" mode. Usually Im against taking a shot like that BUT, usually that happens when someone is jumped, it was just him and me...Secondly...FUCK HIM...He threw a haymaker to the side of my head from behind!! Luckily the moron didnt connect 100% or I would have been the one getting dragged out of the concert unconscious.

I did to him what he tried to do to me. I did it much more efficiently...god it felt good

Nope..pretty much face to face but he was sorta looking off to the side...that and it was dark with a bunch of flashing stage lights. He never saw it coming...just like he did to me...i just did it much better  My elbow/forearm was pretty much right under his eye with my forearm and the bridge of his nose with my elbow, aka: bulls eye!

I always throw elbows in fights. Usually the dude tries to duck what he thinks is a punch and sets himself up perfectly for it.

I hadnt been in a fight for 5 years before that and had never thrown an elbow. After that self defense class I decided that if I ever got in a fight again (which i dont look for) that I would use one. You're right, people set themselves up perfectly for elbows. Block/slide to the side of a punch then boom elbow. The are even more useful than punches since most fights end up with the two people close to each other so its next to impossible to get a full powered punch it. On top of that elbows dont "give" like punches do, they go thru people, AND your knuckles dont hurt the next day :ghoti:
