Alrighty, the big rematch tonight. Shaq and Oden going at it again. Links? Post 'em if you've got 'em.

Shaq should come in confident from the last meeting. I think this is Oden's first rematch so he has a lot to prove.

I don't know if Greg's ready yet to put up big numbers against a guy like Shaq, but I think we have a good shot at beating Phoenix. This isn't a team that plays Boston, LA or Utah type defense.
They got rid of Bell, who gave Brandon some problems. If Brandon can get his 25-30, and if our bench can step up, I think we can pull this out.

Shaq comes into this game well rested . . . which is a big factor for the diesel.

Shaq knows this is on TNT and the hype with Oden, and knowing Shaq, even though he dominated Oden before he wants to put on a show for the nation. Plus there is no love loss between Shaq and Joel.

Roy has said the Suns have pushed the Blazers around the last couple of meetings and it now up to them to stand up to them.

    This should be a running war . . .

Yeah, I'm just looking for Greg to hold his own against Shaq. I'd be happy just seeing Oden not being bullied around so easily like last time.

I don't think the last game counted. This will be the first time Greg has started against Shaq. Now, we'll really know where Greg is at this point in his career.

I hope Greg stuffs him, or makes an emphatic block just to show Shaq that he's here. Hopefully being at home will help him get into the right mental frame.
    Let's go G.O.!!

I'm afraid Oden will have trouble with Shaq tonight. But what rookie center doesn't?

He definitely needs to have this kind of moment. Shaq doesn't do well when people don't give into his bullying.

Batum is also going to have his hands full guarding Jason Richardson and Nash.

Orlando is going to win tonight. If we win, we'll pass the Spurs in the standings.

Ha. I just meant that it didn't count in terms of how Oden plays against Shaq. They hardly ever matched up in that last game.

Just to put Greg's 8/8 in perspective.... Wilt averaged 37/27 in his rookie year. How amazing is that?

Wilts numbers are pretty unbelievable. You have to wonder what it was like to watch that as a fan back in the day. He was simply that much better than everybody else. I wonder if we'll ever see something like that in the NBA again.
