It just helps, because we have 15 players now, so we can not just match, if we dont make a trade first...

If we get Krstic to be our backup C, we can give up our 2 young undersized centers for Noc.

OK, but you could just, for example, cut Williams, who you're basically trying to give away anyway. Doing so would allow you to match on Krstic and have the benefit of not costing you a bunch of 2010 cap space like Nocioni would.

Nets would drop Ager and keep Sean to make room Kristic.

Kind of exciting thinking about having Krstic back on the Nets. It seems so long ago but before getting injured Krstic was on his way to becoming one of the better centers in the East.

Before Krstic got injured in the 06/07 season he was putting up similar numbers to LaMarcus Aldridge this season.

Nah. Depending on how he has been playing in Russia, I say he starts over Yi, I dont care what the Nets are trying to do marketing wise, remember Krstic was working in his 3 pt range before. the reason why Boone cant start next to lopez is because of his shooting. Krstic is a better shooter then Boone. As much as I am afraid of Yi's confidence coming off the bench, Krstic at PF makes some sense. Anyway when Collins was here Krstic were interchangable.

    Harris/Dooling
    VC/Hayes
    Whoever
    Krstic/Yi
    Lopez/Boone

Don't see it happening. Krstic remains a risk, and frankly we don't need him, anymore.

Anyway we could pry Earl Watson from them?

Why? Not satisfied with Keyon Dooling?

Having a player of Watson's ability on the bench would only help bolster a already solid bench, it would also allow us to play Vince at SF on occasion and let Dooling see more minutes at SG. It would also be great insurance should Devin need to sit out a couple games like he did earlier this season.

Had so much potential and skill and was playing crazy against Shaq in the playoffs. Too bad that injury really fucked him up. I hope he plays good for the Thunder.

I'm rooting for the Thunder to win less than 7 games this season.

Krstic is not a PF in our system. He is not capable of driving and dishing from the outside.
I think he is a very similar player to Brook, just not as good... Still, way better than Boone imo..

And he played pretty bad in Russia..

Krstic does seem pretty superfluous with Yi and Lopez in the system

The difference is Krstic is better than both, if he returns to his pre-injury form.
