Man, he seems so HAPPY. I don't blame him, but I look forward to him getting a couple of games under his belt. Hopefully he hits 50 again and it'll be more, "been there, done that". Ed O.
I like the "off-air" comments you could overhear between Wilbon and the other guy, very complimentary of his game and the way he plays.
summary: - Asked teammates several times if he was being "too aggressive" and they said: um, no - shoot more! - Even Roy says that he is somewhat surprised that the team is exceeding expectations already this season. - Hesitated when asked if he thinks the Blazers are title contenders; says that they have a lot of work to do to get there. edit: pretty cool that they gave him the longer 5-minute segment instead of the normal 1 or 2 minutes.
as they were cutting to break Bob Ryan (the other guy) says: "People should have already known who he was, but if they didn't they will now."
What is the god-damned avatar with a head and big question mark? I've asked before and nobody answers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In other words - if you ever went out of the country and came back through customs - you have an avatar. Right?
A superstar and team leader anxiously asking his teammates whether it's okay for him to be taking so many shots...one of the funniest and coolest things I've ever read. Roy is almost a dream...a brilliant player who also happens to be a fantastic teammate and classy person. I hope he's a Blazer for many years.
No Brandon and I have a feeling we're spinning our wheels a lot like OKC or Memphis; similarly young teams with not a lot of veterans and no clear leaders. I'm bowled over whenever I think about our roster in 2005-2006 and where it is now and that the turn-around came through the draft and not through trades.
Fixed. Most of our players did come/go in a trade, just deals done on draft day. LMA, Roy, Rudy, Sergio, Frye, getting rid of Jack, Randolph
