Devin Harris PER- 25.67 number 5 overall Vince Carter PER- 21.89 number 21 overall Tony Parker- 22.32 number 18 overall Manu Ginobli- 21.93 number 20 overall Chanucey is # 24 and Rip is not in the top 50 http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/holl.../insider.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics On a side note Manu and Tony's best Player efficiency ratings was during the Spurs last championship run. They're PERs were not as high as Vince and Devin's is this year, it's not really that close either. If Vince and Devin continue playing the way they have been (there's not reason why they wouldn't), then they will be more efficient than the gold standard of the spurs backcourt. If you add up the nets backcourt and the spurs championship backcourt. the nets backcourt of this year is about 3 PER points higher. Of course the spurs won the championship because they had Duncan who had a PER of over 26. If only the nets had an allstar caliber big man ........ http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/SAS/2007.html Chauncey and RIP's PERs aren't even in the 20's during their chamiponship run. http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/DET/2004.html
Uhh, LeBron IS a great big man... There's no reason he couldn't play power forward for the right team, especially one with Devin Harris as a point guard.
I wasn't at the game, but my Dad was, and it apparently was a bit of a ghost town. Only reason the stadium looked full is cause they let the upper deck come down to the lower level. With that said, the crowd did sound pumped up.
OK. The Raptors suck. Hard. Must be tough to be a fan of such a crappy team. And Bosh is a no-defense ninny. He can keep his max contract, we'll go shopping for someone else in 2010.
He plays small forward 80 percent of the time. I don't consider Lebron a true big because he dribbles way to damn much but it could definitely work if he does come here and concedes some of his passing game and stats. I'd rather not wait for a CHANCE at him in two years. I'm saying if we have a shot at trading for a good big man we should take it now. Besides Lebron is at his best as a point forward with the ball in his hands playing with a good shooting PG which is exactly the position he's in right now. I don't see him coming here even if we did move to brooklyn.
